Developing what matters — homes, neighborhoods, trust.

Drawing on over 30 years of development experience, Structa creates thoughtfully designed residences that balance architectural elegance, enduring craftsmanship, and practical solutions, while honoring the character and history of the communities we serve. Every project prioritizes modern living comforts that minimize responsibility, allowing residents to stay rooted in the neighborhood they love and young families to grow into a space they’re proud to call home.

What We Do

Site Evaluation

To understand a neighborhood we begin by walking it. From that intangible appraisal to zoning factors and beyond, we ensure every site can support thoughtful, high-quality development that respects both investment and neighborhood.

Development Strategy

We operate with a long-term vision for each project, balancing design integrity, financial performance, and community impact. By anticipating change, we maximize value and guide developers from concept to completion with clarity and purpose.

Design Leadership

Grounded by a deep sense of responsibility, our team is actively engaged with a careful selection of architects, engineers, and consultants. We guide decisions at every stage to ensure quality, longevity, and an elevated resident experience.

Community Planning

We engage neighbors, stakeholders, and local officials early in the process. Our goal is to demonstrate stewardship and genuine care by involving people and seamlessly adding value to the communities we build in and they live in.

Project Oversight

From pre-construction to occupancy, we coordinate every detail. Materials, contractors, schedules, and quality standards are all considered so projects are able to be delivered on time, on budget, and true to the vision we establish.

Capital Partnerships

We partner with investors and organizations to align financial priorities with project potential. Transparent modeling, disciplined financing, and collaboration enable growth while maintaining integrity, accountability, and long-term value creation.

Thoughtful development rooted in community, craftsmanship, and care.

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do — from the homes we build to the skilled people we build them with. At Structa, every project reflects our team’s commitment to quality, integrity, and lasting impact. With care and precision from planning to execution, we balance timeless design with practical living solutions to craft homes and communities that endure.

Let’s build something lasting together.

David Goldman

David Goldman

Founder

David Goldman founded Structa in 2022, drawing on more than three decades of experience in construction, engineering, and real estate development. Over that time, he has completed approximately 3,000 residential units and $2 billion in construction — work that spans government and municipal projects, high-end historic preservation, and large-scale urban residential development. David began his career in the trades, developing a hands-on understanding of how buildings actually come together. That foundation has informed every phase of his work since — from managing complex construction programs to leading development strategy at the highest levels. Before founding Structa, he served as CEO of Belgravia Group, one of Chicago’s most respected residential developers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Design from the University of Iowa and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. At Structa, David brings that full range of experience — technical, financial, and relational — to a focused practice built on long-term partnerships with people and organizations he has worked alongside for years. The goal is simple: thoughtful development that works for residents, neighbors, and investors alike. When he’s not building, David walks — typically 8 to 10 miles a day. He subscribes to the old Latin principle solvitur ambulando: it is solved by walking. He also plays guitar and cooks. David grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, and now lives in Glencoe with his wife Andrea, an interior designer, and their three children — communities he has called home his entire life, and ones that shape his perspective on what good development should deliver.
